Matt Nable’s story is truly inspiring.
An extremely talented actor, author and critically acclaimed writer, Matt was recently hit with some tragic news about his younger brother, Aaron.
Matt appeared on Straight Talk with Mark Bouris to discuss Aaron’s recent diagnosis with Motor Neurone Disease (MND). MND occurs when specialist nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord called motor neurones stop working properly. The life expectancy of those diagnosed sits anywhere from 6 months to 3 years.
Matt opened about the complexities of the disease, as well as receiving the awful news that his youngest brother is dying. Mark also opened up about his own experiences with MND, including his own mother’s diagnosis with the disease.
Matt is on a quest to raise much needed funds that will be used to support those medical professionals that are tirelessly working to find a cure for the disease, which many scientists believe is close. These funds will also go towards supporting those families that are affected by MND, especially Aaron’s, to ensure that his young children are able to get a good education and live a comfortable life.
