With the 2023 NRLW Season kicking off this weekend, The Fordham Company is excited to announce that Marlee Silva has joined the Nine Wide World of Sports team, as a commentator and reporter specialising in the women’s game.
Marlee joins the Nine team following a number of successful years at ABC, where she featured heavily across their coverage of the NRL and NRLW as a sideline eye, whilst hosting the ‘Sport and Spice’ podcast.
She was also fortunate enough to travel to the UK at the end of 2022 to cover the Rugby League World Cup, specifically the women’s tournament, where she spent time interviewing players from each nation, and explored the wide reach and incredible tales within the game.

This season promises to be the biggest yet, with the addition of four new teams being a testament to the growth of the women’s game in the country.
Marlee will be sitting across the NRLW, covering live matches and co-hosting the NRLW Weekly podcast.
The Nine Network is the home of Women’s Rugby League, with every game being broadcast live across their channels.
