The Fordham Company and Mentored are pleased to announce this very exciting new project between Mark Bouris and Stake.
From this partnership comes a new podcast called Going Public, where we hear from prominent entrepreneurs, founders and executives to uncover what goes into taking a private company public. Expectation vs reality. The pitfalls, solutions and rewards. Once Mark and each guest are through, everything is out in the open.
“Any listing catapults a company into the spotlight, unlocking a world of opportunities…from accessing vast capital to solidifying its brand”, Bouris says.
“But, with that, there can be a loss of control… the pressure and the stress is magnified.”
The series offers listeners a unique insight into the experiences of these companies in their transition from private to public, and some of the challenges they may have faced, as well as the opportunities they took advantage of.
The first episode released last week, which saw Mark sitting down with Scott Kirkland, Co-founder and Executive Director of EMVision – an innovative medical device company developing portable electromagnetic microwave imaging solutions. Scott shared all about the journey towards listing on the ASX under the ticker EMV in 2018.
Episodes will be released every month on Spotify, along with the video recordings on Mark’s YouTube channel.
