Television host Scott Tweedie, who is currently fronting E News in the US, has joined The Fordham Company talent management agency. Tweedie is highly regarded by industry heavyweights as he continues to make waves in US television.
Hailing from the Sunshine State, Scott launched his career in 2009 as the host of the hugely successful youth hidden camera series, Prank Patrol, on Australia’s national broadcaster ABC (a co-production with the BBC). Scott’s cheeky charisma saw him become an instant household name, with the show airing for five years worldwide.
After hosting three more shows for ABC, Scott graduated to the host of The Loop, a Saturday morning music show on Network 10, for eight years and over 400 episodes. His must-watch interviews and games saw him add shows such as Movie Juice, and by 2018 he was the roving live reporter for Studio 10.
For two years, Scott was filing stories from around the world, and hosting shows across the network including Dancing with the Stars, The 2019 Melbourne Cup, and launched a new companion show for I’m a Celebrity Get Me out of Here called Saturday Schoolies.
In late 2019, Scott was head-hunted by NBC Universal in the United States to host E! Entertainment’s ‘E! News’ and ‘Pop of the Morning’ live from the iconic NBC Rockefeller Studios. Interviewing icons such as Jerry Seinfeld and Dolly Parton and labelled ‘the world’s sexiest Australian’ by Shaquille O’Neal, Scott has quickly established himself as a regular on E! ’s iconic Daily Pop! program, and pioneered the network’s first live Instagram show, HappE! Hour with Scott Tweedie.
A passionate surfer, Scott has begun to curate ocean conservation stories to galvanize action in communities around the world.
The Fordham Company CEO, Nick Fordham, said – “The Fordham Company is thrilled to welcome Scott Tweedie to the family. Scott is an accomplished broadcaster and has worked hard to get to where he is on US television, but we look forward to taking his skill set and profile to the next level and securing major opportunities here in Australia.”
Scott Tweedie – “Nick Fordham and I entered into a bet to see who could get more tik tok followers in 6 months; loser has to manage the other. I’m over the moon 4.4 million people enjoyed my rendition of Titanics’s ‘My Heart will go on’ on the recorder – because now I have Mr Fordham and his team managing me. Personally I thought his WAP dance was good.”
“My favourite car is a Ford, and my favourite food is Ham…I always knew this was going to be a match made in management heaven. But we will happily work with any car brands!”
