Further to our conversation earlier today I would like to reinforce how impressed I was with Andrew Johns last night at the private function that I hosted for 50 guests.
Andrew presented himself in a very professional and articulate manner. He gave invaluable insights into himself and rugby league and you could not hear a pin drop during the hour and a half in that he was interviewed by Gorden Tallis. He showed genuine interest in the night and was very obliging in giving his time to all of the clients and for the signing autographs.
I have had a number of calls from my corporate clients today saying that it was the best corporate dinner that they had been to and that they could not have been more impressed by Andrew. My clients in the room included many of the “Captains of Industry” in Queensland with their VIP clients in attendance. The State Managers of the following companies were all in attendance: Qantas, Bluescope Steel, Tip Top, Streets, Conrad Treasury Hotel, Sita Environmental Solutions, Birch Carroll and Coyle and MaxNetwork. Other notable attendees in the room included the founding Director of the Brisbane Broncos, Steve Williams, Shane Edwards the former Managing Director of the Brisbane Broncos, the most recent Broncos Hall of Fame Inductee, Willie Carne and Brisbane Lions Co Captain and triple premiership winner Luke Power. They all walked away super impressed by a sports person whom they all idolized and for who they found new respect for by the way he handled himself on the night.
Once again please accept my sincere thanks for you providing Andrew on the night. My company can only benefit from hosting one of the Icons of Australian sport and putting him in front of my valuable clients.
