The Fordham Company is widely regarded as one of the most dynamic and versatile media, sport and entertainment management agencies in Australia.

It was born out of a successful media relations company established by John and Veronica Fordham in 1979. Son Nick joined the company in 1998 and was appointed Managing Director in 2006.

The arrival of the 1990s signalled a new challenge: to create a hands-on, select and personally-driven media, sport and entertainment management agency catering to the many needs of prominent Australians in many walks of life.

Clients on The Fordham Company’s books include television and radio personalities John Laws, Lisa Wilkinson, Karl Stefanovic, Tracy Grimshaw, Ben Fordham, Greg Alexander, Tim Webster, Steve Liebmann, Peter FitzSimons, Matthew Johns, Mark Taylor and Ian Chappell; sporting legends Andrew Johns, Ricky Stuart, Craig Bellamy, Paul Roos, Matthew Burke, Bob Dwyer, Glen Boss, John Mitchell and Cameron Shepherd and corporate presenters Dr Ross Walker and Anne Fulwood.

Following a career in newspaper and radio journalism, John Fordham spent a decade with Qantas, where, based in San Francisco and Sydney respectively, he headed up its publicity and promotions divisions in The Americas and Australian regions.

Nick Fordham has made a significant contribution to the company's growth and diversity during the past decade. He brings a modern creative approach to the company's business activities across the wide range of client services.

Veronica Fordham, who oversees the company's administration, also spent time in the United States as an executive of the Australian Tourist Commission.

Throughout the 1980s, their media relations company boasted a blue chip clientele in the travel and wine industries. Clients included Continental Airlines, Cunard Shipping Line, Thomas Cook, ITT Sheraton Hotels, Rosemount Estate, Orlando Wyndham, London’s Ritz Hotel, Honolulu’s Royal Hawaiian Hotel, Air France and Northwest Airlines.
