Richard Reid

Richard Reid is one of the most sought after personalities in Australian television, radio and print.

Richard Reid has interviewed the biggest names in Hollywood, including Tom Cruise, Jennifer Lopez, Denzel Washington, Sandra Bullock, Brad Pitt, Britney Spears, Jennifer Aniston, Jim Carey………the list goes on and on. His brilliant style and individual charm has made him a favorite of some of his interviewees.

Having established himself as an ultimate Hollywood insider, Richard has his fingers firmly planted on the pulse of tinsel town’s tastiest tidbits! From the Sunset Strip to the Red Carpet on Oscar Night, every morsel is made meatier with Richard’s unique and one of a kind perspective!

Each day, Richard dishes and dissects the dirt on the Channel Nine Network’s TODAY Show and is the resident “In-house Gossip Guru” for the mega-successful Austereo Radio Network. Richard also writes a weekly column for The Sun Herald and Woman’s Day.

In 2008 Richard Branson’s airline Virgin signed Reid to become one of their international ambassadors.

Having been in the news industry for nearly two decades, Richard began his broadcast career in Seattle, Washington (Yes, the birthplace of Grunge!) as host of “Northwest Flicks and Picks with Richard Reid.” Moving to Los Angeles, Richard produced for the E! Channel, Access Hollywood, Entertainment Tonight and The Insider, where he also served as a correspondent.

In March 2008, Reid was appointed “International Style Guru” on the popular Nine Network series, DOMESTIC BLITZ. Garnering great buzz and even better ratings, BLITZ and Richard seem to have found a place in the hearts of Australians young and old alike. He’s also working on pitching his own show concepts to the Network.

“Richard has an uncanny ability to channel the minds of the rich and infamous and tell us not only from around the world what they are doing, but what they are thinking and deliver the news in a signature style,” says his colleague and friend, Richard Wilkins.

Having graduated with honors from New York City’s Hunter College of Arts and Sciences with a degree in film and theatre literature, Richard earned a second degree from Seattle’s Central College in Broadcast Communications.

Reid is also an accomplished MC and event host.
