Pan Macmillan Australia has worked closely with The Australian Women’s Weekly on many campaigns over the years.

In 2006 Pan Macmillan embarked upon a project to take the profile of Australia’s best loved female novelist Di Morrissey, to the next level. In partnership with The Australian Women’s Weekly we arranged a campaign of luncheon events in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane for the magazine’s readers . Di Morrissey was the guest of honour and Deborah Thomas officiated at the lunches in the capacity of host and MC.

Deborah Thomas has that rare ability to engage her audience from the onset, enlightening, witty and charming, she held Di’s audience in the palm of her hand. As editor of Australia’s most popular women’s magazine, she could be seen as unapproachable but Deborah’s down-to earth- manner is irresistible and thoroughly entertaining.
