He is internationally renowned for wrestling crocs in the muddy Top End waters, but soon the Territory’s own Outback Wrangler Matt Wright will be cuddling his newborn son.
Wright and his wife Kaia have announced they will soon be expecting the arrival of their first child.
The jubilant couple posted an image on social media, with the bushy bearded Wright standing behind his glowing wife.
“Big things happening up North we have our own little Tarzan on his way to join us on our adventures,” Wright said in a social media post.
“My poor wife will now have two of us to deal with, we are so excited to be welcoming a little boy in the world.
“I’ve experienced and done a lot of things in my life but meeting my beautiful wife Kaia and now starting our own little family would be the biggest achievement yet.”
The couple tied the knot in November 2017 at WA’s Empire Spa Retreat after a year-long engagement.
The Outback Wrangler proposed to Mrs Wright in 2016 at the picturesque East Point.
Wright flew his helicopter to East Point and landed in the Pee Wee Restaurant’s lawn before getting down on one knee and popping the question.
Matt Wright is exclusively managed by The Fordham Company.
